Professor Yi-Zhe Song serves at the University of Surrey, where he leads the pioneering SketchX Lab within the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP). His research focuses on understanding human visual perception through drawing, translating insights from human sketch data into advancements in cognitive science and AI-driven computer vision.
In addition, Professor Song is Co-Director of the University’s People-Centred AI Institute, the UK’s leading AI research centre, comprising over 50 core academics and 150 AI Fellows.
